Small Animals – Level I: Foundation

Learn to Apply Advanced Photonic Therapy with Confidence on Dogs and Other Small Animals

Program Aim

This program is designed to provide you with the knowledge, practical experience, and intuitive insight to effectively use Advanced Photonic Therapy (APT) with dogs and other small animals.

You will gain:

✅ A solid understanding of small animal anatomy and physiology
✅ Core concepts of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), including meridians, acupuncture points, and the Five Elements Theory
✅ Skills to perform a Dog APT Assessment to detect underlying physical, emotional, or energetic issues
✅ Confidence in identifying and torching the correct acupuncture points

Program Structure

This is an intensive, immersive training, requiring about 8 hours per module per week, including:

✅ Two-Weekly live Zoom classes
✅ In-depth modules with videos and written materials
✅ Practical exercises with a dog (cat work is included in 2 modules only)

Certification Path

This program is open to everyone interested in small animals and holistic healing.
However, for certification, students must:

💡 Complete all assignments and exercises on time
💡 Perform the Dog APT Assessment accurately
💡 Torch the correct acupuncture points
💡 Achieve at least 70% on the oral and written final evaluations

✅ Successful completion of Level I gives access to Level II – Case Studies
✅ Completing both levels makes you eligible to obtain professional liability insurance via the
International Institute for Complementary Therapists (IICT)

Prerequisites

Minimum age: 21 years
Access to at least one dog
Read: “Meridian Massage” by Cindy Black (required introductory reading)

Course Duration (Level I)

💻 Distance self-study: 100 hours
🎥 Distance practical exercises: 20 hours
